*NEW* Create lively sculptures using photographic reference material. Learn how to express movement, stillness, contrasts in texture and softness and enhance your work with details that evoke clarity. There will be a single firing at the end that can be collected later or sent on by carrier for a small fee. Students are encouraged to bring their own images/tablets, though this is not essential.

"Trees are the subject of this autumn exhibition featuring drawings, paintings and original prints by various artists, including a selection of work by Anna and Norman Adams.
A new range of work by Cumbria - based Chris Barnes. Sculptural Raku fired vessels from Cambridgeshire by Stephen Murfitt and hand - built earthenware ceramics by Anna Lambert who currently has an exhibition at Contemporary Ceramics London."

Chris will help you to create your own pieces of Raku pottery and sculpture, and experience the excitement of Raku firing. With lectures, demos and discussion, also visit places of interest to potters: Blackwell Arts and Crafts House and a local gallery or studio.
